Am I Pregnant?

Am I Pregnant? - I did a pregnancy test 2 days ago, it was a Clearblue one. It came back not definite either way! Nightmare! On these ones a usual indication of pregnancy is a blue cross - thick blue lines. Now there is one line there as you can see that is very prominent, and bold, there is also a line the other way. (Hoping you can make it out in the clip below.) This line though is a single blue line not big and bold like the other one ?

Anyway as previously stated feeling exhausted and a bit sicky. Been to the docs today who has sent me for a blood test to test for pregnancy and also checking out lots of other things to check everything is OK. Find out in a couple of days. Have any of you guys had any pregnancy tests come back similar?

Cant Get Pregnant

Well, we went right through this month like the doctor said. Intercourse every other night. We both cut back on Tea and Coffee and hubby cut out beer (or most of it). I really thought that it worked, until I came on my period on day 28. It wasn't as heavy as normal though. Got some symptoms of pregnancy - exhausted (hard one to judge as often am what with work, boys, etc) and feel sick but hungry. I know, I know probably just my mind playing games with me. But, after talking to lots of others and looking on net I have found out that Vaginal Bleeding is common in Pregnancy, so going to do a test at weekend just to rule it out.

If not going for an Ultrasound this month as the doctor has advised and a blood test too. 37 next week.

A1) If its lower than 140 boy and higher its a girl

Q2) Are you are positively glowing/blooming in your pregnancy?

A3) No - its a boy, Yes - its a girl

Determining Baby Gender - I just wanted to put a post on here to say that whilst I am deciding to stop concentrating on trying to conceive a girl and just try for a baby, it can still work for you.

It is harder when trying to concieve a girl rather than a boy. This is because you have to avoid the most fertile times. It will not work for everyone. I have friends that it has worked for and friends that it hasnt. The friends it worked for - it happened the first month. The friends it didnt - tried for 6 months, gave in, tried for a baby and they have just given birth to a baby girl anyway.

The point is if you are wanting to sway the odds towards conceiving a girl or conceiving a boy and you dont mind not getting pregnant straight away and age is on your side (you are less than 35), then there is no harm giving it a go. Its not intrusive. Its just that for me because of my issues getting pregnant I decided to try for a baby and not just a baby girl.
