16 and Pregnant Season 2 - MTV has renewed the second season. It will follow all of the teenage girls that were followed in the first season. The grand finale special episode of the first season of 16 and Pregnant was aired at 10pm on Thursday 23 July.
For those of you who missed the show it was very emotional - I cried, but then I cry at bambi! One of the girls, Catelynn, gives her baby up for adoption. She informs the parents adopting her baby that she just wants what is best for her baby and knows that her baby will be better off with them ! It was just too much to bear - I went through almost a full box of Kleenex. I dont know if I will manage 16 and Pregnant Season 2 ! In Vietnam doctors helping parents find out sex of baby could face having their licence taken away from them. This has been proposed by the Ministry of Health due to the imbalance in baby genders. There is 112 boys born compared to 100 girls. Boys seem to be more favoured as they will continue on with the family business and take care of elderly relatives etc.
